Course Description

On this course you will learn how to safely perform Fat Dissolving Injections. This training is CPD accredited and certified.

Aqualyx Fat Dissolving Injections can be used to effectively spot treat fatty deposits in the face & body. Small areas such as the jowls and chin can dramatically be reduced in one session. For larger areas like tummies, bingo wings and bums you may need up to 3 session.

Which areas can be treated?

Fat dissolving injections are especially effective in areas where smaller fat deposits collect. These problem zones usually affect the abdomen, chins, upper arms or upper legs (saddlebags), and are often impossible to shift even with a healthy diet and exercise.

What does treatment involve

The injection is ideally suited for tackling smaller fat deposits. A combination of active ingredients, is injected into the area using a needle. Results are visible and fully achieved after a few weeks. For best results, injections should be repeated approximately three times, at intervals of 4 to 10 weeks.

Lipolysis (fat dissolving) achieves good results in the following body zones:
  • Chin (double chin)

Entry Requirements

You must meet one of the criteria below to enrol on this course: Open to experienced therapists or medical professionals, you must have one or more of the following qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy with either a Dermal filler or Cosmetic Injectables qualification
  • Micropigmentation professional i.e. Microblading
  • Permanent Make-up artist (6 Months experience)
  • Nurse qualifications
  • Phlebotomist
  • Medical doctor qualifications
  • Qualified dentist – or dental practitioner with a GDC number
  • Qualified Pharmacist
